1000 words drawn again

Alright so this is the very first pic of my OC charley. This was early on in my weeaboo years so yes that is yuna's outfit in pink from final fantasy x-2 (when she was in the singy battle mode thing.) Back then I really wasn't good at drawing darkskin and was too scared to try and blend my colors ... anywhere. I have no idea what the original background pic was based off of , except some cherry blossom trees and a bridge. For the re-do , I drew Charley as she is today, a cute dress that kept the coloring, but was an original, white iridescent kinky hair (i was too afraid to try natural back then too) , and an actual entire japanese garden . It came out a success I think. After  10 years I sure hope it would be . I want to do two more with giovanni and sairi. Both are done with colored pencils and oil pastels.
